"One of the wonders of the mountains of As Ancares, the whole village of Piornedo is made of stone huts & thatched roofs as time stood still. A microcosm of what life was like in an exposed mountainside in a remote part of Galicia. Architecturally harmonious and built to last not like the concrete structures of today ! A community inspired Musuem so the past of the fascinating region is not forgotten."

"Incredible experience. A visit full of history, tradition and charm. The place is very well preserved and transports you to the past with every corner. The treatment was exceptional, very friendly and close, which made everything even more special.
I especially want to highlight Fuco, an incredible craftsman, passionate about his work. All souvenirs are made 100% by hand, with great detail and love. They are beautiful and unique!
And I can't fail to mention the company of Puxa, a charming dog who made the visit even more welcoming. Their tenderness and friendliness make you feel at home.

Without a doubt, a site that is totally worth visiting. Highly recommended!"
