"Fantastic historical site well laid out and very impressive amphitheatre and mosaics"

Alex Hunter

"Impressive remains of this former Roman Colonia Clunia Sulpicia which was once a major city in this part of the Roman Empire from the 1st century BCE

It was built from scratch by the Romans and all around you can see the remains of the impressive buildings that once stood here like the Forum, large baths and a Basilica.

Unfortunately during my visit early January 2023 the mosaics were all covered by sand or wood to protect them from winter weather.

Furthermore be aware that especially in winter in can get very foggy in this part which restricts your view"

Seimen Burum

"You must see. Amazing roman city and anfiteatre. The guide was very kindly and explained all very well."
