"Bodegas Peñafiel, S.L., is located in the heart of the Duero River, in the province of Valladolid. Years ago, I discovered this wine-producing region, its castle, its wine museum, its wines, and its cuisine, where suckling lamb and suckling pig take on a whole new dimension.
Always exploring temples of food and wine, at a recent family celebration, we chose "Miros de Ribera" Roble 2019, the true essence of high-altitude vineyards where the Duero River imbues winemaking tradition with the excellence of the vintage.
We're not sommeliers or professional wine tasters, but this wine is a huge hit with our family. It's rounded, powerful, and elegant on the palate and has an alcohol content of 15.5%.
It was a joyful event and a joyful discovery of this Miros de Ribera, which is now part of our private winery."
