Reviews Summary

Cala Major Beach is praised for its beautiful, clear waters and accessibility, making it a lovely spot for swimming and relaxation, particularly in the spring and autumn. While it offers convenient amenities and beachfront dining, visitors should be aware that it can become very crowded during the summer months, impacting the overall tranquility.

"Cala Major is a beautiful spot, especially if you visit in the right season. April and May are absolutely lovely—warm enough to enjoy the beach but still peaceful and not overcrowded. The water is clear, the atmosphere is relaxed, and you really get to appreciate the beauty of the area without the summer rush.

During peak summer months, it gets very busy and can feel a bit too crowded for a relaxing experience. However, things start to calm down again in September and October, and it becomes a great place to visit once more—still warm, but much more enjoyable and laid-back.

Definitely worth a visit, especially in spring or early autumn!"

Alex Jottini

"This is a lovely small beach located in a busy town. It's very crowded in the summer, everyone is practically on top of each other, which is why there's only 4 stars. Other than that, the water is clear and shallow; the waves are small. So it’s great for children but there’s not much space for them to run around. But if your hotel is in the area, it’s a good beach!"

Noemi

"Really nice beach but recommended to go early so that you can secure sun beds. If you go later, you will still get a place on the beach to set up a rented umbrella.
Easy to rent umbrella and towels. Lots of shops to buy beach supplies, food and drinks.
The beach also has an area to shower and change."
