What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Con Negro is a highly recommended chiringuito set against a stunning rocky coastline, offering delicious food and amazing ocean views. While the drive is manageable and parking available, it can get busy during peak summer. Visitors praise the friendly service and the unique natural beauty, though food options may be limited outside the main season.
"This is an outstanding chiringuito (beach bar) at a very fun rocky area.
First the practicalities. It is at the end of a dirt / gravel road. The dirt part is only about 1km. It can get a little rough in one spot but it is manageable in a regular car. They have their own parking lot. There is also parking by the beach. Room for about 30 cars here and there in the lot and along the road.
The menu varies. Some days it is more elaborate while others it is more straightforward basic beach bar fare including tortilla, padrón peppers, fried calamari, pulpo, a hamburger and a few other items. The food is good, not spectacular but reasonable for the price.
The view is just amazing. Book early if you want a table at prime time. On a sunny day in the summer it can get busy.
Ae always go in the morning to swim and snorkel, then lunch, then more swimming or hiking. We eat here once per twice a summer. Highly recommended. Friendly service as well."

"Great little seaside bar and the end of the coastal walk from San Vincente , ( think it’s called Pedras Negras walk ) very refreshing pit stop with lovely service and great views over the ocean I didn’t get any pics snapped of inside the bar as my phone was dead . The bar is spacious with a lot of outside seating , all the seats inside were reserved the evening we were there and the toilet out of order , but we had a lovely time there with great service"

"Really sweet little cabin with a really sweet barman/waiter. Nice coffee. But.... on the 30th September, no food other than crisps and ice creams I suspect this scenario started a lot earlier than end September!! And hilariously the chap said there was no food at all. I then spied the crisps and then for some reason double checked on ice creams (no sign) and hey presto! 😜"
