"I really enjoyed this - had a basic awareness of Banksy and his work but this was an eye opener. This museum recreates so many of his works in reproductions of their original location which was fascinating as it helps you see more clearly maybe “why” a piece was created in a specific spot. The museum helps you understand the political and social commentary - and humor - in his works Short video clips sprinkled throughout gave you background & insight and the descriptions accompanying the pieces (in multiple languages) also provided great info.
I had one good laugh because I couldn’t find the restroom until directed by museum staff because I thought it was an art installation. This museum gave me a greater appreciation for Banksy & his work."
