What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sala Temple is highly praised for its authentic and passionate flamenco performances in an intimate, cozy setting. Visitors rave about the incredible talent of the singers, guitarists, and dancers, noting the genuine emotion and energy. While the food is considered decent, the true highlight is the immersive artistic experience, making it a must-visit for those seeking real Spanish culture.
"Fun and quality flamenco venue in downtown Madrid. It has a casual vibe and is slightly off the mainstream and busiest tourist areas. Suitable for the curious and the aficionado, it offers a rotating roster of professional performers that present sets that run a little bit over an hour with a small break. Pricing is quite reasonable given the overall quality, typically including a drink, which can be expanded through a small tapas menu including nice charcuterie, cheeses and a few other items.
The venue is relatively small and simple but cozy, and perfectly nice to enjoy the session in proximity to the artists. The recent set I enjoyed was a fun, eclectic quartet with a singer, a guitar player, and two dancers, which were really engaging and inspiring. (Cristina Soler singing, and I believe Roberto Monteiro on guitar. I failed to capture the name of the dancers, which also were phenomenal.)"

"I enjoyed the performance a lot! It was beautiful and I could tell the performers all really love their work, they were really into it, it was amazing to see.
The food was, in my opinion, just okay. The sangria was great though."

"They touched my soul! I can’t even begin to explain the experience, but it’s a passion for the art! Drinks were good and tapas were really nice. I wish I could remember everyone’s names but I don’t. This was the only Flamenco experience we had in Spain and didn’t want to take away from the experience and passion that they all had. Thank you and please continue to embrace your artistic talent!"
