The free admission, vast and well-organized collection of minerals, rocks, and fossils, and the spectacular architecture of the building are consistently praised. "The building is spectacular! I love the way they have the mineral set up very easy to go through. They have some beautiful local minerals as well as international minerals. You need a few hours to really enjoy it. Highly recommend for children. It’s a great learning experience into the world of geology."

"Free museum, really well kept and the collection is HUGE.
I love minerals and whenever I visit a new city I always go to Natural Science museums, because usually there are none dedicated only to minerals.
On the ground floor you can find fossils, minerals and rocks. 1rst floor is dedicated to fossils and the second floor displays minerals and rocks found in Spain, divided by each region.
The thing that I appreciated the most was that each mineral had it's own chemical composition written on the label, which was really cool and I've never found it before at any other museum I've visited!!
If minerals are your passion or you have a few hours to spare, you should definitely pay a visit!"
