The beds are wobbly, the walls are paper thin, you can overheard everything the next room is doing. And we are at the end rooms of one if the building where there are few steps that you need to carry the luggage. "I booked my room directly with the hotel. The staff was great. They were polite, helpful, kind, and always had a smile on their faces. We liked the location of the hotel because it’s so centralized and close to the subway. What made the experience bad was the fact we had mold in our bathroom. The shower leaks on the wall closest to the shower head and toilet behind the glass and because it’s never cleaned, there’s mold growing there. The doorless shower design looks good on paper but because the floor in the shower isn’t sloped towards the drain the water spills everywhere. We had to use bathing towels to dry the floor. Also the carpet is too old and dirty, it smells badly in the room with the door closed. Combined with the water issues in the bathroom and mold, our experience was greatly impacted negatively. Mold is a health hazard issue and should never be an issue in any hotel. I did speak up about these issues with the staff who confirmed they are aware of the issue and are working with maintenance. We stayed on the first floor closest to the Main Street and the noise can disturb your sleep. We could hear people on the hallway and it almost felt like they were in the room with us. If you are a light sleeper you might want to ask for a room in the upper floors or consider somewhere else. If the hotel undergoes renovation and addresses the shower and mold issue, I’d consider staying here again."

"The location and service were excellent. My superior room was disappointing. Thankfully, the bed was comfortable; however, the room needed a serious upgrade. The carpet was stained, the room felt dirty, the walls had minor gashes, the desk doesn't allow one to sit comfortably, the "lounge chair " was uncomfortable. I had a tiny balcony with an okay view. I expected more from the room given the price paid. I enjoyed the breakfast. Not super extensive, but good enough and good quality, especially the veggies."
