"Absolutely amazing experience
Kelipe offers an authentic flamenco show that truly exposes the depth of the flamenco culture, not a touristy performance. The 90 minutes flew by, full of passion and intensity. Special highlight to Suzanna, whose dancing was powerful and moving, and Azucaria, the guitarist, whose skill and emotion were unforgettable. The warm hospitality and intimate setting made it even more special. Highly recommended!

"I watched different Flamenco shows, including several others in Malaga, but this is really different from the others. This is not a "show", this is a rollercoaster of different feelings; sensitivity, drama, joy, pride, pain... Therefore, in the end, as you are leaving the event hall, you will feel exhausted but very fulfilled. Big applause to the whole group. 👏👏👏The incredibly talented guitarist who plays the guitar almost like an extension of his body; the two strong voices, who not only sing but "live" the songs; and Susana, who deserves a special attention here: Ah Susana! Dear Susana! What have you done to us, Susana! You shot everyone on hearts with your steps, your sound, your art, your eyes, your face expressions, your passion. You were the driver of that rollercoaster. You are an absolute "ecole" in Flamenco. 🙏
Dani, the coordinator of the show. I didn't forget you, man. Muchas Gracias.
A little note to the future guests: Try to book at the front row to see the steps closely. It is really worth, believe me."

The Art of Flamenco at Kelipe
Reviewers consistently praise the performers for their incredible talent and the palpable respect they have for each other on stage. Guitarist Amit is frequently mentioned for his virtuosic skill, playing as if the guitar is an extension of himself. The singers are noted for not just performing but 'living' the songs. However, the dancer Susana receives exceptional acclaim, with descriptions of her performance transforming her into 'another plane and dimension' and her steps shooting 'everyone on hearts.' Her emotional expression and energy are highlighted as driving forces of the show.
The intimate setting of Kelipe is crucial to this authentic experience. Being a smaller venue means audiences are closer to the performers, fostering a more personal connection. This proximity allows for a deeper appreciation of the subtle nuances of the dance, the intricate guitar work, and the powerful vocalizations. While some find the seating less than ideal for extended periods, the overall immersive quality of the performance often overshadows this minor discomfort for many attendees.
Why Kelipe is a Must-Visit in Malaga
The venue's unpretentious nature contributes significantly to its appeal. It's not about grand spectacles but about the pure art form. This authenticity is what draws repeat visitors year after year, who find that each show remains unique and captivating. The interaction and communication between the artists on stage are evident, adding another layer of depth to the performance. Even if you don't understand Spanish, the universal language of emotion conveyed through dance and music will resonate deeply.
While the experience is overwhelmingly positive, a minor point of feedback sometimes mentioned is the comfort of the seating. However, this is often outweighed by the sheer brilliance of the flamenco itself. The advice to book front-row seats is a practical tip that enhances the viewing experience, allowing for a closer appreciation of the performers' artistry.
