"As soon as you enter the historic center of Llanes, you're overcome by the feeling of having stepped back in time. The numerous bars and shops that line the streets are also charming. The San Pedro promenade, perched on a seemingly endless cliff, is wonderful, with its green cobblestones. What I loved about Llanes was the kindness of the people, the cleanliness of the streets, and, of course, the architecture—things that can be appreciated throughout Asturias. Fabulous!"

"Llanes undoubtedly offers a magnificent opportunity to lose yourself in another time. It has an Old Town, declared a Historic-Artistic Site, which has been preserved in very good condition to this day, despite the fires it suffered in the Middle Ages and the demolition of part of its walls in times when preserving its monumental heritage was not even considered a possibility.
However, today it still preserves the second-longest stretch of medieval wall in northern Spain.
It's well worth wandering through its narrow streets to enjoy the history of its stones and its historical legacy!"
