"Disappointed because you aren't allowed to take any pictures inside for some reason.
Not a church really, it's more of a museum with some interesting items, but few stand out.
The description of what the called the Holy Grail has been changed to the cup of Dona Urraca
The best part was the mausoleum of the Kings of León"

Anonguiri

It's not expensive, but when you scan the QR code, you can listen to its history from your phone as you walk around it, which is an excellent idea! You can not fail to miss the basilica as it is situated in the middle of Leon, surrounded by a plaza with cafes and shops. The basilica was wonderfully cool inside, which is welcome in 35°C heat."

"Am starting to feel Spanish after many Spanish masses and benedictions. Beautiful church, with kind priests. We were able to receive a pilgrim's blessing and some song after mass had ended. Thank you!"

This underground chamber houses the tombs of numerous kings and queens of the Kingdom of León, dating back to the 10th century. It's a powerful reminder of the region's historical importance. The Romanesque frescoes adorning the ceilings are exceptionally well-preserved and offer a vivid glimpse into medieval art and religious iconography. These paintings are considered some of the finest examples of Romanesque art in Spain. Reddit

Visitors often describe the experience of being in the Pantheon as awe-inspiring, connecting them directly to centuries of history.
