What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Catedral de Santa Ana impressive both inside and out, with the tower climb being a major highlight for its stunning city and harbor views. While some note it's not the most ornate cathedral, its historical significance, well-maintained interior, and the accompanying museum offer a rich experience. The iconic bronze dogs in the plaza add a unique charm.
"We didn't know you had to pay to visit the interior part of the church. At first we were a bit skeptical, but then we gave it a go as it wasn't expensive (€6 for adults, €4 for students or residents and under 12 free) and we sure weren't disappointed. The interior part of the church is well maintained and it looks stunning! But the view from the tower was for sure worth the climb of the stairs. There is an elevator as well but we decided to take the stairs. The view from the top looks like from a movie set and you won't be disappointed. The money is worth it 👌 i wouldn't miss the chance to visit. There is a little exhibition/museum as well. You can just pop there and buy your tickets at the door."

"Beautiful old Cathedral in As Palmas. Peaceful spot to explore and gather your thoughts. Can also access the roof via a lift and then climb the tower for even better views of the city and harbour.
There is also an attached museum and at the time of our visit there was an additional exhibition.
Would recommend."
