"Interesting visit of the house and the exposition of Josefina de la Torre"
Aurore FG
"Excellent reproduction of the homes of Benito Perez Galdós from the 19th century. Includes representations of rooms from his Santander house and a copy of the famous painting of him by Sorolla. The exhibitions in the museum are only in Spanish, but the tour is given in both Spanish and English. The tour guide was very informative, and gets extra marks for having been reading one of Galdós' books when we arrived... Entry is free the first weekend of each month, but anyway, the small entrance fee is worth paying."
Matthew Preston
"Lovingly restored home and deeply illuminating aspects of this great man new to me. Guide was a true enthusiast, hugely knowledgeable and well able to explain. All in Spanish of course."
