What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Valor Chocolate Museum for its free admission, engaging history displays, and the delightful chocolate tasting. While the tours are relatively short and the factory viewing is limited, the overall experience is considered worthwhile, especially for chocolate enthusiasts and families. Booking English tours in advance is highly recommended due to limited availability.
"Not much I can add that isn’t covered in other reviews. Visit their website for times of tours. There are two done in English one at 10am, one at 4pm. If you specifically want the English tour I strongly advise you book online. You can just rock up at the gate and get a free ticket but each tour is limited to 50 people so you might not get in on the very next tour.
The staff are friendly and the tour and museum itself is fairly short but quite interesting with the obligatory shop at the end. We were in and out in about 45 minutes. Certainly worth doing."

"Entrance is by a free guided tour only, on the hour. However the English tour is at 10am and 4pm only. All other tours are in Spanish.
When you get there, take a ticket, which will indicate the next available tour time as numbers are limited to 50 people per tour. You can reserve online. The tour takes you into an exhibition room, video room and museum. You only get to see a very small part of the factory process (individual sweet wrapping section) from a viewing window before the 45-minute tour ends in the factory shop. There are free samples to try and, of course, plenty of chocolates for sale."

"We have visited the Valor Chocolate Museum, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The museum offers a comprehensive history of chocolate and a fascinating factory tour. Admission is free, but you need to reserve tickets online through their website or get them from the on-site kiosks at the entrance. Tickets are required for entry, and they are free of charge.
It's advisable to book tickets in advance online, or arrive early to get them from the kiosk, as tickets can run out quickly for specific time slots due to high demand. Unfortunately, we didn't know we needed to get tickets in advance. When we arrived at our desired time, the kiosk had no tickets left for that slot. We had to get tickets for a later tour and then wait around the town for about an hour and a half until the next tour started.
The guided tour was informative and engaging, and the highlight was the chocolate tasting session. You can also purchase various chocolate souvenirs, cocoa products, and more in the gift shop.
Despite this small inconvenience, whether you're a chocolate lover or just curious, the Valor Chocolate Museum is a must-visit. Highly recommended!"
