"An amazing historical insight into the lives of the local civilization. Living in well designed caves with their ability to survive. Extremely worthwhile the visit. Be prepared to walk a good distance to find the sight which in itself is part of the adventure while soaking up the local environment."

Ivan Levinrad

"Great museum with 11 caves to visit and lots of very interesting information (to read or to listen to via audio guide) about the caves and their inhabitants, the history behind them, the ecology of the surroundings, caves in other parts of the world etc. Great views. Nice staff too. Very good price. A must-see!!"

Kiwi

"This is a beautiful place, and it is worth the uphill walk for three reasons: 1. It is the best way to learn about the history of the Sacromonte and its caves. 2. The views going up are amazing. 3. You get to know more about gypsies and flamenco.
I am giving 4 stars because it is not accessible for people who have trouble walking because the way is very steep, and it can be dangerous to share the road with cars, bikes, and scooters. Besides that, this place is amazing and we recommended. It gives you a break from churches and castles. The kids enjoyed it so much."
