What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise La Rocina Visitor Center for its serene natural beauty and excellent birdwatching opportunities. The well-maintained boardwalks offer easy access to Doñana National Park's wetlands, and the knowledgeable staff provide valuable insights. Some wish for binocular rentals and better upkeep of information boards.
"The place where the queen of El Rocio reigns. There's nothing more beautiful than her. Every store with the accesories and assets were peak. But the candle's place was just perfect.."
Aitor Vera
"Welcomed by a very nice man who gave me all the information I needed. The place is a good refuge from the sun and heat.
From here, you can have a walk of 1 or 2 hours to 4 look out points from which you can see a diversity of birds. (my pictures don’t do the experience justice)
What I am missing: a service that would allow me to rent binoculars. I don’t really know why they don’t do it, it is true most people bring their material. For the ones who don’t, they are missing out which is a shame. (Someone luckily let me use theirs for a bit)"
June Aberkan
"A very nice and peaceful place. Great place to go bird watching and the hides give good views of the marshes and the pools. The boardwalks around the area are great and go through the woods, scrubland and marshes. Birds to see are Purple Herons, Red c Pochards and Black Kites. Some of the information boards around the area need repairing. Car parking is free but if busy the car park can fill up quickly."
