What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
La Perla Spa offers a unique, authentic Basque spa experience with stunning ocean views and a highly praised talasoterapia circuit. While some facilities show their age and extras like towels and swim caps are not included, many visitors find the experience relaxing and good value, especially during off-peak times. The gym is also noted as being sensational.
"I'm glad that I gave this place another chance because my experience was so much better than last time so I think they've definitely improved over the past year.
Friendly and helpful staff at reception, all of the jets were working throughout the circuit, all of the sauna rooms were working, guards were telling people who were being too loud to be quiet, all was as it should be so I really enjoyed my experience this time.
The only things that let this place down now is not providing a towel at a minimum, and worst is actually the other guests, ignoring silence rules both throughout the circuits as well as inside the saunas, not using a towel inside the sauna etc."

Legion Of Everything
"Fab, I really do not agree with these negative reviews! My sister and I went on a rainy afternoon, and got the midweek afternoon rate of 28 Euros for two hours. Great value! It's a proper spa, lots of different jets targeting different areas of the body, warm and cold water seawater pools, beach access, panoramic views from the jacuzzi, steam and sauna, some intriguing hot and cold shower 'scent labyrinth', and our absolute favourite - the water beds. Towel hire is 2 Euro extra and you'll need one to access the sauna and water beds so bring in with you. Also required is a swim cap, sold for 4 Euros - they are strict on this.
Everything in good condition, great variety, lovely views and all staff were helpful. Recommend!"

For Different Travelers
Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
Consider visiting during off-peak hours to ensure a more comfortable experience for everyone. While the spa is a place for relaxation, the unique seawater pools might offer a novel experience for younger visitors. However, it's primarily geared towards adult relaxation, so manage expectations regarding a 'kid-centric' environment.
💰 Budget Travelers
To maximize savings, bring your own towel and swim cap. While the spa offers these for rent, purchasing them beforehand will cut down on additional expenses. The value lies in the unique talasoterapia circuit and the stunning location, offering a memorable experience without the premium price tag of some other spas.

Enjoy the panoramic ocean views from the jacuzzi or relaxation areas, creating a romantic backdrop for your visit. Consider booking a session during sunset for an extra special touch. It's a perfect way to complement a romantic getaway in San Sebastian.

Pricing can vary, with weekday afternoon rates often being more affordable than weekend or all-day access. Some visitors have noted that certain facilities might be under maintenance, so if a specific feature is crucial for your visit, it's worth inquiring beforehand.
Despite minor drawbacks like potential noise from other guests or the need for extra purchases, the overall experience is frequently described as relaxing and enjoyable, especially given the stunning location and the unique talasoterapia offerings.
