"DO NOT BOOK! This is the worst ferry company ever. We are traveling with a dog (+8kg) and each staff member told us that our dog can stay with us the whole time. This is NOT TRUE! On the way to Mallorca, our dog had to go in a cage in a special room full of cages with no AC. We were not allowed to stay with our dog. It was the worse experience ever to leave our scared and afraid puppy alone. Then the staff said that our return ferry is a different ship and there a special deck we can stay with our dog. Luckily, we did not trust them, so we called the call center and asked again if it’s true that we can take our dog and they said no, he has to go in the cage for more than 6 hours!! Balearia is NOT PET FRIENDLY! It’s not pet friendly to put dogs in cages for 6 hours in a room that’s way too hot. It’s not pet friendly to LIE to the pet owners.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER BOOK WITH BALEARIA!!!"

"Booking of your offer ida y vuelta Denia -Formentera was impossible (memos 25%). Was impossible:tried from 3rd till 4th of August, on various times. In the afternoon went to denia port to Balearia ticket office - employee was also unable to book even. Very friendly personal staff called the office, even called back and told me system was down I should try next day. Tried over and over again, with various devices. Went again to the port on the 6 th of August -same lady remembered us and still said it was impossible. Since you do not have the offers any more-booking is possible for 450-700€ or only ferry's in the afternoon to Formentera. Very bad performance."
