"A superb historical movie location and only 1.5km away from the tunnel used in Indiana Jones, so altogether a great hike from Rodalquila.
Note no dogs seen at all, I'm sure the experience of them scared one of the other reviewers, but they have never been there when I've visited, which is several times. I'd say their experience was a one off. Make your mind up, but it would be a shame to miss seeing this place because of one person's experience."
Phil Little
"Amazing abandoned place, very pretty landscape too. The only thing is mad vicious dogs with careless owners take their dogs there, we almost got attacked, so in the end a terrible petrifying experience, I don't think I have ever been so scared nor so close to being viciously savaged by wild dogs which their owners seem to just let them do who are visiting. The point is, if you go, be very careful, caution and prepared!!"
Alex Gilmour
"Wonderful place full of history and stories. Far from the beaten track, lonely and mesmerising. It's such a shame that it is disintegrating from lack of care. Surely Lorcas fans can save this important site of ' Bodas de Sangre', never mind the list of movies filmed here?"
