What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pont d'en Gil is celebrated for its spectacular natural sea arch and breathtaking sunset views, offering a unique landscape experience away from the typical beaches. Visitors rave about the stunning scenery and the communal atmosphere during sunset. However, the rocky, uneven terrain requires proper footwear, and parking is extremely limited, often leading to crowds during peak times.
"This is a lovely natural phenomenon with great views of the sea and boats of varying sizes passing by. People say go for the sunset but one time we passed nearby there were literally hundreds of people wandering about in crowds so I'd say don't bother unless you're there out of season. The "path" should not be imagined as a proper walkway, more a route where thousands of walkers have trodden down the ancient craggy rocks. Wear proper shoes or walk extremely slowly. "Parking" has 4 spaces but plenty on the road, again if it's busy, you'll have to walk further along the road."

"This is definitely a must visit if you're in the area. Very inviting nature for taking a nice stroll around this place - no excessive hiking necessary. The views are absolutely stunning, if the sun's out it's even more beautiful. Very much recommended!"

"Nice communal atmosphere for sunset but let’s be clear, the parking is actually about 6 spaces so be prepared to turn around sharply and try find parking in the main road. Whatever you do don’t try to park in that mad little space behind the bins because you’ll end up arguing with the five cars who try the same move after you. We saw some crazy locals? Jumping off the rocks into the sea. Everyone cheered. No idea how they got out 😵
Lovely sunset spot, wear trainers or sturdy sandals. Saw one lady in kitten heels struggling to navigate the path in. The path in isn’t actually a path just some sharp rocks that threaten to derail your holiday with a broken ankle. I don’t mind a bit of funky walking but if you wear flip flops you’re going to regret it."
