What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cala Tarida is praised for its beautiful, crystal-clear turquoise waters and soft sand, making it ideal for swimming and families. The stunning sunset views from the cliffs are a major highlight. However, some visitors find the beach crowded, with sunbeds taking up space, and can be bothered by persistent beach vendors.
"Big steep steps down to the beach. Unfortunately like most of Ibiza beaches now, sun beds belonging to the hotels and restaurants take up a lot of the beach space. There is more beach to use up one end. The water is crystal clear with soft clean sand."

"We stayed at the TUI Blue Hotel, which backs onto this beach and spent the day at the beach and watched the sunset here many times during out stay.
The beach itself is beautiful! Crystal cleat water with small fish swimming amongst your feet.
However the sellers of various towels and other items hindered our experience. Every 5 minutes we were harassed to buy something. So we just spent our time in the water instead (they can't get you there 😉)
If you fancy a hike you can go up onto the cliffs, where the sunset was spectacular. If you make your way down the cliffs you can access the little bay that you can see from across the beach. Lovely and quiet, no pesky sellers, calm and clear water. It was bliss!
I did however get stung by a jellyfish here. Not a bad sting. But just be aware they can float around that area."

"Cala Tarida is a beautiful beach, especially stunning in the morning when the water is crystal clear and calm. The sea can range from completely still to gently playful waves, making it ideal for both swimming and relaxing. The rocky areas offer some snorkeling opportunities—don’t expect anything extraordinary, but it’s still enjoyable.
However, in the afternoon the water near the shore can sometimes become noticeably murky or dirty, likely due to currents and increased foot traffic. Also, beach vendors can occasionally be a bit intrusive.
Overall, Cala Tarida is a lovely spot if you come earlier in the day—perfect for a peaceful swim and great views."
