Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Bulnes for its unique charm and the impressive engineering of the funicular, offering access to a village seemingly frozen in time. While the funicular's price is a common point of contention, many find the experience and the village's beauty well worth it. The hiking option is highly recommended for its scenic rewards.

"It's free for the people who live in Bulnes, but for others the price is expensive. We walked to Bulnes from Poncebos (if you have pretty good physical condition, it's a great walk), and we went back with this funicular. There was a tractor going down in a funicular too. The village is amazing although very small, but worth to visit."

Olga S

"Quite unhappy with this service.
It is expensive, the staff is lazy on the service and a bit rude.
Price is high like 18 per adult then 4 for the return so we did not use the return and walk all along the way and that was enjoyable.

If you use the funicular to visit the village , skip the effort because it is not worth the visit.. if you plan to go on mount Urriello then use the funicular

Also we came by bus and it is not worth it, take a cab , almost the same price and the bus schedule is weird, as there is no service between 1 and 5pm !!"

Jerome G

"Very convenient to get to the Bulnes village if you are not fit enough for hiking there or have not time to do it, bit expensive although."
