Reviews Summary

Cala Sant Francesc is widely praised as a beautiful and pristine cove with stunning turquoise waters and a picturesque natural setting. Visitors appreciate the clear water, good facilities like showers and a cafe, and the opportunity for snorkeling. However, the beach is covered in pebbles rather than sand, and it can get very crowded, especially during peak season.

"Beautiful beach with larger sand which you can wipe right off you and your towel which is so handy! There is also toilets and showers available for free and a restaurant on the beach. The water is crystal clear and the cove makes the beach sheltered from the wind. A lovely location and beautiful beach - great for snorkelling by the bay"

"Cala Sant Francesc is an absolute gem of a beach, located just outside of Blanes (which, honestly, we didn’t like at all—but this beach more than made up for it!). It’s truly one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve been to in Spain.

The water is crystal clear, and the surrounding landscape is stunning. Instead of sand, the beach is covered with very fine pebbles, so I highly recommend bringing water shoes for comfort.

There’s a charming little path along the coast, and although the beach itself isn’t very large, it’s easily accessible by car—which is both a plus and a minus, since it can get quite crowded, even on weekdays.

The facilities are great: there are showers, toilets, and a café right on the beach.

Cala Sant Francesc is definitely in my top 3 beaches so far. Highly recommended!"

"Nice cove and position.
There is no sand, there are small pebbles on the beach and bigger ones in the water.
Water is clear, no big waves, it doesn’t get very deep very fast.
There are sunbeds and umbrellas, 2 euros each for 2h (during start of June).
There is parking, but not so many spots - when we arrived at 16:00 we hardly found a spot. The parking is free until July.
You can hike right of left to other places.
In the right side of the cove, there is a smaller baby cove, where the water is just amazing and suitable for kids."
