"We liked everything in general, highly recommended. Starting with the location, because Bermeo is a good starting point for exploring the surrounding area. The apartment is close to the center on foot, so we could always find somewhere to park. The beautiful beach is a 10-minute walk away, as well as shops and restaurants. The apartment has everything you need and more, beautifully decorated, and everything is very new. Beautiful sea views. The hosts were great. They welcomed us and explained everything. There was tourist information in the apartment, and they let us have breakfast, a special touch. They even lent us a public transport pass.
Just be aware that it's a fourth floor apartment with no elevator, almost a fifth, as there are a few steps to the ground floor. This can be a problem for families with small children or people with mobility difficulties. It wasn't for us; we went up without a problem, and this way you can enjoy the wonderful views of the sea from the apartments in front of us. I missed my firmer mattress, but I still slept great."
