What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests praise The Hoxton Barcelona for its stunning design, comfortable rooms, and the incredible rooftop views. The hotel's location in the vibrant Poblenou neighborhood is also a plus. However, some visitors have noted inconsistencies in breakfast quality and service, and a few have experienced issues with customer service regarding room requests and billing errors.
"Our stay was fine! The rooms were amazing and I booked through the disloyalty membership so the rate was good. The bicycles were cool. A few things that made our stay a little bit less like other Hoxton stays:
We asked for cleaning throughout our stay on the day of our arrival and it did not happen. We had to ask twice more (stayed five nights).
The breakfast was either a la carte or buffet. We did not want buffet style breakfast but a good a la carte breakfast like we are used to from the Hoxton hotels. We were send away to the lobby the first time we took breakfast in the hotel, there was not an option to order in the restaurant. We felt a bit set aside. The second time, yes we had to go a second time because it was too early for other options, we were put in between the lobby and the restaurant, because the lobby was closed and the restaurant for buffet only. After that, everything went wrong. I received an oatmilk cappuccino instead of regular milk, fried eggs instead of scrambled and the scrambled tasted like it was from the buffet (not freshly made). Save to say I do not recommend having breakfast at the hotel."

"Great location well within walking distance to much of Barcelona. If a bit too far to walk cabs are plentiful. Great accommodations great breakfast great people very person service and they went out of there way to make sure. The managers are at the desk regularly and active in ensuring a great experience. The airline lost a bag then delivered us the wrong one. Dmitry went out of his way to help us. He made calls on our behalf. Overall exceptional. Would stay here again in a minute. Everything done right."

"We had a great stay at the Hoxton.
The design is beautiful, the rooms feel modern and comfortable, and the vibe throughout the hotel is warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere
The only things that kind of misses in the breakfast, there’s room to improve with the quality of the food and the way the serve.
Overall, I’d definitely come back and recommend it for anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable stay in Barcelona."
