What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Museu Blau for its unique indoor rainforest and striking architecture, calling it a must-see in Barcelona. While some find the exhibits can be a bit spread out, the overall experience is highly regarded for its educational value and immersive natural wonders.
"Super cool place for kids and adults! Have us the vibe of Night in The Museum film! There was no one in the morning, so it was even more special!
Permanent exhibition is a must visit , temporary is not so good( seems too complicated to understand, as it looks much more like a modern art than science and nature exhibition), but it might be just us!😁
If you want to explore the evolution of the earth and universe it’s a must visit place for sure! Everything looks stunning!"

"It worths the while visit if you have small kids. First of all, it’s close to a metro and tram station. The area is newly built so everything is in big scale: metro station, sidewalks, etc. Big entrance where you can leave your umbrella. Free entry for kids, as an adult I think I paid 2,5€ for the Permanent exposition. The tickets cost the same if you buy them online but no need to.
Space to leave your stuff on the first floor. Space to sit and eat (with vending machines or bringing your own food) on the first floor too. Bathrooms have small toilets for the little ones. Gift shop on the first floor.
The entrance has an impressive installation of the Earth. Then you see some paleontology and geology findings, then it’s the exposition of the animals, then the exposition of the fungus, precious stones, and some more. You’ll need 2 full hours for the Permanent collection.
Helpful stuff.
Accessibility for all people."

"FANTASTIC MUSEUM! A very comprehensive museum with a lot of animal exhibits and an explanation of the origin and evolution of the planet Earth itself. There is also an interactive part that is also interesting and this museum is very suitable for children as well as for adults. When we were there on a Sunday at the beginning of August, the entrance was completely free, and on the website of the museum, otherwise, the price of the ticket is really free. If you have a few days in Barcelona I think you should visit this place!"
