"Fantastic place with impressive views. According to Wikipedia:
The hermitage of Sant Onofre is a small oratory located in the Badalona neighborhood of Canyet built in 1498 by the monks of Sant Jeroni de la Murtra in the Serrat de les Ermites, at the top of the Sant Onofre hill (269 m.), between the Font Santa stream and the Coll de les Ermites. Together with the Sant Climent hill it forms the Serrat de les Ermites. It can be reached by the road that leaves the Coll de Valleñana or the one that passes through the Coll de Puig Castellar, from Santa Coloma de Gramenet. Its construction was motivated by the need to have a space for the monks of the monastery of Sant Jeroni to retreat, contemplate, pray and do penance in solitude. In fact, the order of the Jeroni monks combined the cenobitic life with the eremitical life. It was customary that on May 3, the feast of the Holy Cross, the community of monks would go up in procession and from there they would bless the district of Badalona.
It has certain characteristics of late Gothic, which we can see represented in the ornamented semi-circular window, the vaults and the fine interior ribs. The plan is rectangular, with a straight apse and a gable roof. The portal is voussoir, with a round point made with granite voussoirs, which is accessed by semicircular steps.
