"Another Michelin starred restaurant checked off my list! The decor is very minimalistic and modern, which I loved. Very clean, intentional, and extremely aesthetically pleasing. The space even smells like a luxe hotel lobby. The soft grey color palette is beautiful, and when you walk in, you’re greeted by the kitchen team and servers, which sets the tone right away.
Enigma literally means “puzzle” in Spanish, and the concept really leans into that. I opted out of seeing the menu, so I had to guess the dishes/ingredients as they came out. Honestly, it made the experience more fun and interactive! Our server was warm, attentive, and explained everything effortlessly.
Menu highlights:
- The Parmesan cheese air waffle was light, crispy, and addictive.
- The smoked eel was layered, incredibly tender, and very umami. One of my favorites of the night!
- The foie gras flan completely blew my mind and was hands down my favorite dish. Just WOW! You don’t understand until you try it!
A lot of the menu plays with textures and flavor contrasts. It’s a very INTERESTING concept with real depth. While a few dishes felt slightly underwhelming, the overall execution was top tier and the experience was memorable."

"Truly one of the greatest restaurant experiences of my life—and that says a lot, as I’ve dined at places like Noma in Copenhagen and other highly acclaimed restaurants.
First, we were welcomed by the one and only Albert Adrià, and we even watched him taste and refine dishes with his team. Seeing his analytical skills at work, live, is a memory I’ll always keep.
Second, the staff took care of us with impeccable attention to detail, warm smiles, and genuinely engaging conversation. Special note the Mr Javi who is just a world expert in the art of hospitality and who took care of us.
Moreover, Frederic, the sommelier, looked after us so well that it was a delight to taste each new wine he recommended. What impressed me most was how, when we mentioned a wine we love—say, Côte du Py (Morgon)—he found the perfect course to pair with it and poured just two glasses via Coravin. Truly exceptional.
As for the essential—the food—every course was spectacular for its ingenuity, rarity, and the way it lit up the palate. For example, the opening bites—delicate foams—left a lingering, almost ethereal finish. Moreover, the design and purity of look of each dishes was astonishing, see the pictures attached.
For some of us, it wasn’t our first time at Enigma, but for most of us it was the best Enigma we could have hoped to experience.

"A generally standout experience with some caveats, we certainly enjoyed our meal. Some truly memorable dishes, great effort by all the staff. We all truly admired what they have accomplished.
That being said, reflecting at the end of our two week Spanish holiday I struggle justifying 920€ for 3 people - it was not “that” much more memorable compared to numerous other stellar Michelin (and non Michelin) “non star” restaurants we enjoyed this same holiday for a small fraction of the price.
Furthermore, one of our party had visited previously and felt this evening was not nearly as immersive as his previous visit where they were taken on a tour around the facility for different courses. He was clearly disappointed - not at all the experience he’d had the first time that had him yearning to return. Which ultimately we will not."
