What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently rave about the 'Juan-tastic' and 'Juan-derful' experiences at Barcelona Cooking, highlighting Chef Juan's humor and expertise. Many praise the fresh ingredients, unlimited wine, and the deliciousness of the prepared meals, calling it a trip highlight. The classes are described as instructive, welcoming, and a great way to experience local culture.
""Juan-tastic" experience with Barcelona
Cooking. My wife and I took a paella cooking class with Chef Juan at Barcelona Cooking. He is a “Juan-derful” person, professional chef, excellent humor, and a phenomenal instructor. All of the ingredients for our meal were fresh and laid out in front of the stations we cooked. We made a gorgeous butternut squash soup, Spanish tortilla, tomato & olive oil bread, chicken paella, and crema de Catalan! Everything was amazing, including the music, and white & red wine that flowed unlimited. The best meal we've ever had in our lives (and my wife is a professional baker).
The night was very special and Juan was fantastic, a new lifelong friend. A night and meal we will never forget. We highly recommend Barcelona Cooking for anyone looking for a memorable evening in Barcelona. It was a great way to experience the culture of this city. We will do this again on our next visit to Barcelona."

Really learnt a lot and already planning to cook the dish at home soon."

"A definite trip highlight in Barcelona!!! Highly recommend, lovely chef Sonja helped us make a wonderful authentic Spanish meal. We drank delicious wine from the region and had lovely conversation with other guests. I purchased a recipe book & jar of saffron which made a wonderful souvenir. A beautiful evening ♥️"
