"For something a little different and due to the historical significance of the place, we decided to visit the Anís del Mono factory, an iconic landmark in Badalona.
Our visit took place on one of the summer evenings organized by the factory and the Badalona museums.
Marga, the museum director, was our guide during the hour-long tour of the factory. It's clear she loves what she does and has explained the history of the factory many times.
After the tour, there was a concert in the factory courtyard. During our week, a jazz concert was held. Given the night, it was a great time, and it was a good time.
During the concert, they hand out two drinks, nuts, and candy. I think they should hand out more or other food items; the drinks are very strong, and the Anís del Mono is 35% alcohol.
The price of the factory tour and a table to enjoy the concert is 15 euros. They sell out very quickly, and are currently only available on a limited basis.
All in all, a good experience, more geared towards people over 50."
