"Great market with a good range of fresh fruit and veg. Be careful at the meat stall though - I ordered 500g ‘carbs picada’ (minced meat) and 4 slices of ham and was charged €34! I should have asked the price first, so a lesson learned but still… !"

"I would like to thank the staff of the market who came to my assistance when I had a fall just by one of the doors. I was bleeding quite heavily from a head injury, they called an ambulance for me, gave me paper towels to try and stop the bleeding, and reassured me that medical help was on its way, staying until the ambulance arrived. Thank you so very much."

"It is one of the areas I love the most when it comes to thinking about doing something good in the kitchen 😅... the merchandise is well displayed and there is a wide variety of choices. Fruits, vegetables, bread, cheese, meat, eggs... even though it's not huge, it's a complete market. The displayed merchandise... and this is more or less the same for all the stalls, is of high quality. Needless to say, the selection of fresh fish available here is truly remarkable ❤️... it's worth going shopping."
