"Interesting park that knew better times. It doesn’t have big green spaces, it was more a park for walking. There are a couple of interesting statues, including local hero Pedro Menendez, and a nice bandstand. It was the main park of the city until the bigger and greener Park of Ferrera was opened in the 70s. The park was built in the previous harbour, where the sea used to be."
