Visitors rave about the brilliant hike through the lush river valley, highlighting the refreshing waterfall and clear pools as major draws. "Brilliant hike!
There’s a small car park at the start of the trail. A random guy was there asking for a bit of money — we gave him a few euros, which seemed to make him happy. Not long after, we were greeted by horses, goats and a friendly dog.
The walk took us about two hours, though we did wander off the path for a bit and stopped to enjoy a cold coffee by the waterfall. Such a beautiful spot!
To reach the actual waterfall you’ll need to do a little climbing, so it’s not ideal if you’re not very able-bodied. Most of the walk is manageable for anyone, but the last section — and the detour we took — definitely needs a bit more agility."
