"A brilliant visit to a special vineyard just outside of Barcelona. The village of Alella has a rich wine making history and Alta Alella continues this tradition by making some delicious wines and cava. Our tour was led by Martha who was full of knowledge and passion for the wines. A great half day out from Barcelona, easily reachable by bus or taxi. The Alta Alella staff are very helpful on email and in person at the visitor centre. Enjoy lovely views and crisp wines with small snacks as you gaze across the vines where your wine started!"

"We visited Alta Alella as a group of 12 as part of a hen do. The team were really helpful when booking via email. On the day we just so happened to be lucky enough to get the whole vineyard to ourselves as there was no other groups booked (this was mid week) and it was just beautiful. Alberto our guide was very lovely and knowledgeable. The tour was insightful and interesting. The wine was delicious and you got to taste a variety of different wines, it was nice to hear about the natural element of the wine and the environmental considerations.
I would love to come back again one day and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend if you’re on holiday!
The views are breathtaking."

"We had a tour of about 10 persons. Xavi was our guide and Sommelier. He is so knowledgeable, I came home with an enhanced understanding of wine and how grapes are processed, etc. He’s so patient. Explains everything. Allowed us a little time to take selfies along the grapevine fields. He also served us wines to taste and explained them thoroughly. We purchased to take home. He’s got a great sense of humor. We had a lovely time. This was our 41st anniversary gift. We will always remember. Book your tour. You’ll love it."
