"Castle entry is free but they force all tourists to take detour and go through their gift shop for no good reason against their will. Even for castle exit. Be rebel, take shortcut, cross red line. You are not a sheep :-)"

"Museu de la Ciutat d'Alacant is a very beautiful part of this castle. It was a nice little hike to get up to the top and it has very gorgeous views of the city and ocean.
It's a nice easy little hike up to the Top If you're looking to get your walking in. We had walked here from our cruise ship when we had some free time.
There is not a lot of original stuff here it's just the ruins left over. But it has some really beautiful views and it was a nice time hiking up to the top.
We definitely recommend coming here if you are in this area!"
