What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Baegyado Island is praised for its stunning coastal views, free entry, and the pleasant walking paths on Jangdo Island. Visitors appreciate the art museum and the chance to experience the natural beauty of the tides. However, the lack of dining options and the dependence on tide schedules for access are noted drawbacks.
"It is fantastic place to walk with talking. Parking was free on Saturday. I think they don’t ask parking fee whole week even they have parking fee gate. After parking we have to cross the road to reach the Jangdo island. From the gateto Jangdo, it took 5 minutes walking. At the bottom of the path there was some sea water. I think it’s because of the tides. It means sometimes you can’t go inside because of the tides. Even today was hot, Jangdo walking path was very cool and I could feel mild breeze. When I reached at the top of the island, there was cafe and art museum. In the museum I could meet a famous artist “Chae Su Pyeong”. His paintings were very intensive with fishies called “anchovy” . I greeted him because he greeted me with gentle smile. 😃 He said to invite me to his art studio which is located on Waon beach. 🏖️ Oh luckily I could hear a pianist’s playing in a coffee shop. Every Saturday a pianist plays. After enjoying nice view at the Jangdo I found camping spot on the left side of the Jangfo entrance gate. People were enjoying bbq 🍗. It made me hungry but there is no restaurant or street food near that place. This place is free entry.
Thank you ."
