What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Songdo Central Park for its modern design, spacious green areas, and unique attractions like the ramen cooking stations and reindeer. It's seen as a refreshing escape with beautiful sunset views, though some note the surrounding industrial presence. Overall, it's a highly recommended spot for a relaxed day out.
"Beautiful peaceful park and man-made lake to stroll around with outstanding sculptures and striking buildings surrounding it. Only downside is that public restrooms are not easily found so if you're planning to walk completely around, make sure you study where the rest stops are. On our visit in late March, almost none of the exhibits were open and the park was nearly deserted. Furthermore, if you're there on a Monday, most restaurants nearby are closed. In fact, the whole surrounding business district seemed devoid of people outdoors, kind of strange. This area was part of the ambitious project by the South Korean government to build a modern high-tech city area and, for the most part, they've done well."

"Songdo Central Park is a must-visit destination in Incheon, especially if you're interested in seeing how modern urban planning meets natural beauty. The park is located in the heart of Songdo International Business District, a smart city known for its futuristic architecture and eco-friendly design.
One of the main highlights is the man-made seawater canal that runs through the park. Visitors can rent kayaks, paddle boats, or take a water taxi to enjoy a relaxing ride with a unique city view. The surrounding landscape is beautifully maintained, with a mix of open lawns, flower gardens, and tree-lined paths that make it ideal for walking, jogging, or cycling.
The park is also home to several art installations, sculptures, and well-designed public spaces. It’s not just a recreational space but also a great cultural and visual experience. At night, the surrounding skyscrapers light up, giving the park an almost surreal glow. There are also playgrounds for children, picnic areas, and cafés nearby.
For photographers, it’s a dream location—especially at sunset or during the cherry blossom season in spring. It's peaceful, clean, and rarely overcrowded, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Seoul.
Whether you're a tourist or a local, Songdo Central Park offers something for everyone—relaxation, scenery, and a glimpse into the future of sustainable urban living."
