"While visiting Jeju, I found this temple on the map and knew I had to visit. There are a lot of stairs to climb so you have to be physically ready for it, some people don’t like it or cannot climb, so there is a small gift shop at the bottom (beginning) where you can sit and wait. I found this temple to be very peaceful and scenic with the view of the Yeongmori coast.
I prayed to Buddha when I got up to the top of the temple and also prayed inside the temple. I drank water from the cave while I prayed to Buddha and inside the temple I prayed and made a wish. I also prayed outside to the golden statue Buddha and pressed my head three times on the statue, for good luck. When I came home, I later discovered my wish had come true ✨. This made me believe 100% that the Buddha and this temple heard my prayers. I 100% recommend this temple, and also visited the gift shop to support the monks who live and run the temple."
