What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Seogwipo Citrus Museum informative, especially regarding citrus cultivation and history, making it educational for families. While some find the exhibits repetitive after a while, the seasonal activities like tangerine picking and workshops are highly praised. The adjacent botanical garden and hiking trail add to its appeal, though occasional renovations can impact the visitor experience.
"There is a 1500w entrance fee for this museum. It is quite informative, shows you the different cultivation of oranges, types of soil, where are the different countries of origins, how they are harvested etc. But frankly, after while it gets a little boring for me because its pretty much the same story just different types of citruses. Great for kids though, very educational."

"The museum is fun and very informative on the history of citrus in korea, and specifically on jeju. Very clean, sleek, and modern. However, construction was being done, and certain areas were closed/off limits (gift shop :( ). Very nice cafe and space for fun events like cooking classes and foot baths. It's worth a stop if you're in the area.
P.S. There is also a botanical garden and a hiking trail, so if you're up for something more physical, there's something for everybody."

"Now undergoing repairs, so entrance is free. Nice to see so many varieties of citruses, shame you can't taste them. Small gallery with local art."
