What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Myeongdong Shopping Street is a vibrant hub for K-beauty, fashion, and an overwhelming array of street food. Visitors love the energetic atmosphere and the sheer variety of shopping options, especially for cosmetics. However, some find the street food to be a bit overrated and overpriced, suggesting it's best experienced once for the novelty.
"Another Tourist trap with a huge crowd that blocks one to move from shops to shops.
I believe there is nothing cheap here because it is definately a touristic area. There is always a huge crowd will welcome you here. Non of the shops are cheap. You can find same products for cheaper at anywhere. Same shops have more that 3 filiales so you feel like you passed from the same street again. But that is not he case.
Good thing is that is is safe even there is so many people. You can find variety of restaurants and street food, massage shops, cosmetics shops, Michelin certified restaurants etc.
But i do not recommend you to shop here, just go to see as an experience. It is vibrant Athmosphere especially in nice weather."
