The temple is quite rural although lots of tourists during the day. the accommodation is a little away from the temple which makes it quieter and we had a lovely walk to the temple for early morning chants. "This is a beautiful Buddhist temple located by the foot of the mountain with a river running beside it. From the parking lot, it's quite a walk to get to the temple. It's a relaxing walk though because there are so many trees and if you come here at the right time in the month of September, the path is covered with vibrant red spider lilies.
We came a little late so we did not see any spider lilies but we still enjoyed our time. It was raining too but it was still very beautiful.
This is an old temple built in the the late 500AD. So there's so much history in this place that the Koreans are still able to preserve."
