What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise The Hyundai Seoul for its breathtaking, nature-inspired interior design and vast array of shopping options, from luxury brands to trendy Korean labels. The extensive food court is a highlight for its variety. However, some shoppers note that many items are expensive, and a language barrier with some staff can occasionally be a minor inconvenience.
"What Macy's in New York used to be in the 70s and 80s. The market in the basement is like Eataly in Union Square, but so much more varied. Must stop at the Godiva section for their chocolate filled cones which are simply amazing"

"Don't know about the shopping mall, but loved the food court in the basement.
Can't say that it's a food court but many varieties of food stations. Very clean and food look delicious. Had couple of them but would like to have few more. 👍😋"

"This review is about the food court located on B1 of the Hyundai Department Store in COEX. It’s our go-to spot when my husband and I can’t agree on what to eat or don’t have any particular cravings.
Personally, I prefer the newly renovated food court at their 압구정 branch. The modern interior and brighter lighting create a much more pleasant atmosphere. Some of the restaurants and menu items are similar across both locations, but perhaps because of the ambiance, the food at 압구정 feels a bit better overall.
During our visit to the COEX location, we ordered the assorted fish and cold noodles—both were just okay, but consistent. They’ve remained pretty much the same over the years. If they updated the COEX food court to match the 압구정 one, I think we’d find ourselves coming here more often when we can’t decide on a specific restaurant or cuisine."
