What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
This Hongdae restaurant is praised for its delicious and affordable Kimchi Jjim, making it a great spot for solo diners and those seeking value. While the spice levels can be intense, the friendly service and self-serve banchan add to the positive experience. Some find certain add-ons less impressive, but the core dishes are highly satisfying.
"I came by accident. Unplan. Surprise by the service and menu choices. Waiting time not long. Food Taste satisfying. Will come back again, definitely."

"Leaving this review for my English-speaking friends, since the staff here don’t really speak much English(I’m Korean btw)
I got the soft tofu potato stew with the “potato dough” add-on — that’s how it’s written on the English menu. Basically, think instant potato gnocchi. Not gonna lie.. kinda meh lol
If you can handle Buldak Bokkeum Myun, go ahead and try the Very Spicy option. Otherwise, I’d say stick to something less intense haha.
And hey, if this was helpful, swing by Bagleland Hongdae for dessert after🤭
P.S. That bear-shaped plastic bottle on the self-serve bar doesn’t have honey in it — it’s sesame oil. Pour some over your rice with seaweed flakes and mix it all together, my friends!"
