It's the 27th bridge across the Han River, with a total length of 1.84 km and a width of 28.5 m, and has six lanes in each direction.
Construction began in August 2003 to improve the inadequate transportation network in the northwestern part of Gyeonggi-do, and it opened in January 2008.
To protect the Janghang Wetland, a major migratory bird sanctuary in the Seoul metropolitan area, eco-friendly construction methods were adopted, and decorative features were excluded.
The exterior is painted in an inconspicuous lime green, and the exterior is kept simple. By crossing the Han River from the lower reaches of Jayuro to connect Ilsan New Town and Gimpo, it provides convenient transportation for residents of Goyang and Gimpo, who used to use Gimpo Bridge upstream."
