"Historical place. japan style castle"

"(August 2025) This Japanese castle is better preserved than Ulsan's Hakseong Fortress. At the entrance, you can see the Nobori Ishigaki structure, a characteristic feature of this area, resembling a wall. However, perhaps because it's not a historic site and receives few visitors, the guide service is somewhat inadequate. There are a couple of signposts, but it was disappointing that I couldn't tell where they were. It would have been nice to have a guide, but there wasn't, and the building itself, which appeared to be a waiting room, felt like it hadn't been used for quite some time.
Nevertheless, I gave it a perfect score because I could enjoy the luxury of a quiet, breeze-filled, ocean-viewing experience. While the noise of cars on the highway just behind the castle could be heard, I was able to spend a long, quiet time sitting in the courtyard-like area within the inner castle. Even on a day with a heatwave warning, it was refreshing.
Unsurprisingly, having been demoted from a historic site, it's not well maintained, and the walk to the main keep might not be an easy one, but thanks to this, I was able to fully immerse myself in the atmosphere of the abandoned castle. What was actually nice was that it was a mountain that could be walked back and forth in 30 minutes, rather than the Seosaengpo Japanese Fortress itself."

"It was great to be able to visit the site where a Sengoku period warlord came and built a castle after the Battle of Sekigahara.
It was past 5pm so unfortunately I couldn't meet the staff.
Thank you for keeping it so clean.
I almost slipped and fell down the slope on the way back, so be careful! 😅"
