It's a great spot for picnics and leisurely walks, especially when hosting events like the Seoul International Garden Show. "Boramae park is hosting the 2025 Seoul International Garden show. This adds another layer of greatness to the park. I spent about five hours there which included eating a picnic lunch. There is a central area for picnicking, sitting, relaxing and listening to music. If you have kids there is a unique water park area - judging from the kids, laughter and streaks they were having a lot of fun. The gardens are beautiful and the many footpaths provide lots of shade. Also, spent time hiking the mountain trails.
From 1958 to 1985, the area served as the Korea Air Force Academy. In 1985 Seoul Metropolitan Government transformed into a public park. There is a section filled with old air-force planes.
Easy access by bus or subway and yes it will be one of my summer hangout spots."

"Boramae Park is all dressed up this yr from April till October 2025. The park is hosting the Seoul International Garden Show, so there are lots of new flowers everywhere and 'themes around the park including two small paths to go barefoot (the big barefoot walking area was remodeled and it is smaller)."

"Rimu travelled all the way from Ireland to Seoul. I visited the opening day of the Seoul International Garden Festival, and it was so special!
There was a cute Metamong/Ditto garden, and Rimu got to meet Hechi!
The park is spacious, flanked by Seoul’s tall modern apartments. It’s perfect for events, and great for kids!
Rimu found a favourite park!"
