"Lovely short walk (about 2km) through the forest and over wooden bridges to get to the surf. Resident fish eagle, cormorants, grey heron and weavers were spotted. Also several red duiker seen along the trail. Ideal for a trail run."

"In the bustling centre of Umhlanga, it is a welcomed tranquil nature outlet. Surrounded with beautiful trees, stunning birdlife and picturesque beaches, the forest hike is more needed than one would expect and worth the experience. Trails lead to the beach and lagoon and rumour has it, an unofficial nude beach as well so that route is not for a family walk. Perfect place and environment to let go and breathe. Highly recommended."

"Stunning little walk. The pathways halfway have been closed for maintenance or reconstruction or the rehabilitation. It was a nice 10/15 min walk with my kids either way"
