"Extremely poor quality accommodation and a highly disappointing and unenjoyable stay. The linen and towels were not clean and smelt manky. The shower was terrible and barely any water came out.
We arrived back late at night and could not get into the front gate, nobody answered the intercom or any of their phone numbers.
Looks acceptable in pictures but would never recommend this place to anyone unless you are happy with 2 star accommodation."

"As we could not find a suitable restaurant in Tulbagh, so we tried this wine farms restaurant. Beautiful, but a total disaster. Very unfriendly waitresses. Food took forever. The menu says creamy mussels. Worst ever. It arrives in some sauce that looks like colored runny water and a heck of a lot of spring onion. Nowhere on the menu do they mention the spring onion. Then my main meal arrives. Bototie that is served with chutney. I had to ask numerous times to please bring the chutney. After eating 1/4 of my bobotie, it arrived. Waitresses don't do a follow-up on tables to ask about more drinks. We had to flag one down. Yet another waitress with an attitude. For sure, it's not a restaurant we would recommend at all."
