Couple months ago, the boss decided we going on a conference. So off we trek to Tsitsikama Misty Mountains. Super fun, what a surprise we got with the spot we found. Sometimes you forget how beautiful South Africa is, not only the food languages, music and diverse cultural back grounds are beautiful but this landscape as well. Have you visited the big tree in Tsitsikamma? An eight hundred- year-old Yellowwood, standing 36+m tall and with a trunk circumference of 9m – I’d say it’s kind of a BIG deal, we enjoyed it so much we didn’t want to leaf 🍃 🤓 Watch till the end, watch me take on a spider web 🤣

"The forest walk to the big tree is lovely. It's not a long walk, and a lot of it is a wooden boardwalk. It is also a circular walk, so you see different things going in and coming out. The walk crosses over a stream. The forest was fresh and clean. The place is well-maintained. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. There's a nice curio shop and the bathrooms were clean. The tree itself is magnificent! Well worth seeing. Look out for moss, mushrooms, and ferns while you're walking. The forest is healthy."
